Hitomi formed in 2007 recording their debut EP, Save Face, with producer Tim Speight.  The EP received reviews in national magazine, Rock Sound, and provided Hitomi with a solid foundation on which to launch their career.


Since then the band have racked up many achievements including; 

Recording their second EP, Unravel Me, with PlayWork Productions in Philadelphia, USA.  The EP went on to sell over 1000 copies at gigs, 5 out of 5 star rating on iTunes and was critically acclaimed in national press, receiving reviews from Kerrang!, Rock Sound, Barnsley Eye and many more publications.  The lead single, Here I Am, saw Hitomi being named one of the top three unsigned bands in the UK in Kerrang! Magazines 2010 competition, Warriors of Rock.  


In 2011 Hitomi beat over 10,000 competing bands to earn their place at the Live & Unsigned national final at the o2, London.  The band competed at various heats through out the country, taking with them strong fan support and earning high points from industry judges at all events.  Hitomi won the Media Exposure award and were presented with the prize at the national final in London, July 2011.


During 2012 the band self produced and released several songs, Hitomi have had success with several of the tracks being aired on BBC radio and used on national, prime time TV shows such as Hollyoaks. 


Hitomi have recently finished recording their third EP titled, 'Home.'  The band have been working on the 5 track EP for the past six months and decided to self produce the tracks with guitarist, Joshua Ingamells, mixing the album.


Hitomi are launching the Home EP at Sheffield venue, Corporation, followed by a tour of venues across the north of England.
